#123: “What size do I need?” Use this trick to help customers choose.

Reduce returns and boost conversions 17% with model sizing info.

No. 123: Hey all,

We know picking the right size can be a real challenge for customers.

The quicker they feel confident in their choice, the more likely they are to hit the 'buy' button.

For apparel and accessory brands, sizing is high stakes—and sometimes high anxiety.

Showing size details of models wearing your products is a helpful way to guide shoppers to the right size.

But just how big of a difference does it make?

When we moved the model sizing info for an apparel brand, conversions jumped dramatically.

Here’s how you can see the same for your store.

🎯 WIN OF THE WEEK

Move model sizing higher up and display more prominently in the product page buy box to boost purchase confidence.

Some brands add a brief note about model size in a detailed drop-down section. Some add it to descriptions. Some don’t list it at all, leaving the customer to wonder.

We added model measurements directly above “add to cart” in the buy box for a luxury clothing brand.

This addition led to a 16.8% lift in conversions.

Model measurements above “add to cart” in the buy box offer immediate reassurance and quicker purchase decisions.

When buyers know the model's height, weight, typical size and how the item fits in the photo, it significantly reduces purchase anxiety.

Even better: it’s much easier for the customer to visualize themselves wearing the item.

Don’t make them waste time digging for the size info they need or bother emailing your team for a simple question.

Reduce returns, boost customer confidence, and increase impulse purchases with model sizing.

⭐ Takeaway: For fashion retailers, reduce size uncertainty with easy-to-see model measurements high in the buy box.
